Does the law of attraction really work?
From my experience, yes.
From the little things to the big things, you can see if it’s really working in your life too.
1. From cravings to consciousness:
Do you ever have a craving, let’s say for peaches or potato chips, and it’s nagging at you, on your mind constantly?
Then you’re driving down the street and you see a sign for u-pick peaches or a Frito-lay truck drives by in front of you.
You take note and think “what a coincidence,” and keep driving. An hour later an acquaintance at work offers you a little bag of chips because the vending machine accidentally dropped an extra one.
Or later that evening a friend drops off a jar of the peaches she was canning that day. That’s the law of attraction working for you without you even trying to put a conscious thought into it.
2. Following the flow:
Okay, let’s step it up a bit.
You are in a hurry and have tons of errands to get done.
Groceries, the bank, pick up the kids, drop off the library books, etc.
You think, “man, would it be nice if there was just a parking spot right at the front.”
You drive into the parking lot at the grocery store and what do you know?
A parking spot right at the front.
So now the energy is flowing and you think, “well, I made that happen…maybe I’ll get all green lights on the way to the bank.”
And so it goes on, and at this point you’re having great fun, because the more conscious energy you put into it, the more it is happening.
The door to making the law of attraction work for you is opening…
3. Setting goals and letting them go:
So now you know something is working.
There’s just too many coincidences to count!
So you write a goal – a result you want – on your dry erase board in the kitchen.
Let’s make it a believable goal at first, since writing “a million dollars” might seem just a little out of reach!
How about $10?
And all day long, as you go about your day, you glance at the board every now and then.
You see that $10 out there – that end result.
You let it go, let the universe do its work, but the thought of the $10 is there in the back of your mind.
You see it in your hand, you know it will be there, just like the peaches and the green lights. Sure enough, you receive a cash rebate in the mail or your neighbor pays you back the ten bucks they owed you, or you sold something on craigslist. It happened because you knew it would.
4. Take notice of how attitude affects energy:
I have an online business, and I can say with certainty that attitude affects sales, even when I have zero contact with the customers.
When my energy is flowing, when I am at peace and enjoying my work, I make a lot of sales.
I believe that what I make is valuable, I believe that people will buy it…and they do.
When my energy is stagnant, when I am edgy and insecure, I can go for days with no sales.
That’s when my mind is not in tune with what I truly want.
Pay attention to what comes to you on a “good” day and what doesn’t come to you on a “bad” day and you will find that it pays to be at peace with your thoughts.
So hold your goals in your thoughts, keep your attitude happy, and watch for those coincidences. Build upon your own evidence that the law of attraction works and watch as it works more often and in bigger and bigger ways!
