When it comes to creating abundance, it’s important to do things right. If what you’re doing currently isn’t bringing what you think it should then it’s time to change what you’re doing. After all, it’s said that doing the same thing over and over again yet expecting different results is basically foolish. One of the things that helps with creating abundance is attracting the right (positive) energy. Here are some ideas to help do this.
4 Ways of creating abundance
Happiness has its own buzz or energy. It’s also infectious. You might get ratty if someone near you is permanently happy but it’s actually quite hard to be as grumpy when you’re near them.
Smile. Force it at first if necessary but smiling will soon become a habit that you slip into more often.
Look on the bright side as well – adjust your views and your energy focus so that you’re a “glass half full” kind of person more often.
You’ll be pleasantly surprised how fast this affects the energy you give out and attract.
Donate to charity
There’s an unwritten law in the universe that what you freely give, you’ll get back ten fold. If you’ve read any of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Giving without the expectation of return normally returns lots more than you’d ever expect.
If you’re cash poor, remember that you’re not limited to giving money. Most charities will accept an extra pair of hands at a moment’s notice so you can donate your time (which still has a value) even if you don’t have enough spare change to make any effect.
Be grateful
This is another easy way to attract the right energy into your life and, in turn, begin creating more abundance.
The simple act of saying “thank you” is something we tend to un-learn as we grow up. If you’ve slipped out of the habit of thanking people, get back into it. You’ll be thrilled at the response you get.
Keep a journal of all the things you’re grateful for – these can be small or large, that doesn’t really matter.
Often it’s the small things in life that make the biggest difference to our energy levels, so don’t sweat about whether the things you’re being grateful are big or small or somewhere inbetween.
Remember the butterfly effect – it’s exactly the same with the energy we give out or attract.
Like attracts like
As far as the law of attraction is concerned, like energy attracts like energy. So if you’re a grumpy, negative person you’ll attract grumpy, negative people like moths to a candle.
And if you’re a positive person, you’ll actually repel the negative types and start attracting more positive energy into your life.
You’ll start to give off a positive vibration more often and – like a tuning fork – you’ll begin to attract more positive energy into your life.
Give it a try for a day or (ideally) a week and keep note of how many more good things you begin to attract into your life.
